Oh Oh! Just messed up Lisa’s Website

I was experimenting with the site, and now all I have is “Page not found.” She is going to be very mad at me. Hope I can fix it before she gets back from the store!

Need to discover how to accomplish all my projects and keep my sanity.

I just finished a new steampunk room design, called Vandalia Queen and loaded it on http://www.homemarketviews.com yesterday. I have a new idea for a business training video for YouTube, and will try to get that out this next week. I am grateful that I can spend time each day on my projects. I am also grateful that I get to do these projects at home with my girls.

Here is another pair we finished tonight.

We are trying to make each pair of earrings unique! Also, one of the rules is to use all the pieces and parts we purchased for this endeavor. Our goal is teach our children how items are manufactured and sold. Our youngest child today made a sign that says:

Buy Are Stuff – I don’t have the heart to tell her she used the wrong word!

So Far Behind

I am so far behind in my web work. I am grateful that I have a job I love. This month I have decided to do technical writing again. I am in the perfect position to see how the academic world differs from the corporate computer training world. I have been given more hours at the lab, and gladly accepted them; because those extra hours will help fund my next entrepreneurial endeavor. I have also picked up a fabulous at home tech work – at twice my college hourly pay!

Wisdsom came while chopping celery

Today, I was chopping celery for tomorrow’s Turkey Dinner. Do you ever wonder why random ideas and thoughts come into your head while doing mundane procedures – like chopping celery? As I was pondering my feeling of being debt free, and how that equals to being stress free, I discovered it’s not about what you do for a living. It’s all about how you feel while living! I want to always feel this free! Here I am chopping celery, and as I looked around the room, I stopped to notice:

I have the next 5 days off. My dog was sleeping next to the wood burning stove, crackling with the smell of cedar. My refrigerator is so full of food, I had to put the pumpkin pies, and whip cream in the refrigerator downstairs. My children are all here, each entangled with their favorite electronics. Although my husband has to work; he has a job, and he has tomorrow off. It’s about what you have, not what you do not have! Happy Thanksgiving!
